Speaker
Guohong Li

China has become an aging country, and this trend will accelerate in the next 30 years. It's estimated that 30 years from now, those above age 60 will account for 31 percent of the population in Shanghai, and those above age 65 will account for 20 percent of China's total population. For this Research in Progress seminar, CHP/PCOR trainee Guohong Li will discuss her project, which examines how to utilize healthcare resources wisely and efficiently, and how best to allocate specific healthcare services for the elderly in Shanghai, taking into account the current economic situation. Her presentation will focus on healthcare reform efforts in China, health insurance in Shanghai, and the design of her research project.
