Reyko Huang - Ph.D. Candidate, Department of Political Science, Columbia University; Zukerman Fellow, CISAC

Reyko Huang is a 2011-2012 Zukerman fellow and predoctoral fellow at CISAC. She is a Ph.D. candidate in political science at Columbia University. Her current research examines rebel governance in civil war and its effects on postwar political regimes. Her research interests include international politics, civil wars, statebuilding, and democratization. As part of ongoing and past research projects she has conducted fieldwork in Nepal, Timor-Leste, and Sri Lanka. She was a 2010-2011 Peace Scholar at the United States Institute of Peace.

Prior to her doctoral work Reyko worked at several policy and research organizations on peace and conflict issues, including the International Peace Institute in New York; UNDP in Timor-Leste, and Center for Defense Information in Washington, DC. She holds a MPA from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, and a BA in government and economics from Cornell University.
