The Social Science and International Security Seminar presents work by leading scholars – including social scientists, legal scholars, and natural scientists – to a multi-disciplinary audience. Presentations include work on nuclear weapons proliferation, war and civil conflict, international and transnational organizations, governance, bio-security and global public health, migration, and counter-terrorism. This seminar was previously called the CISAC Research Seminar on International Security, Natural Science and Social Science, which began in 2009-2010.
