The effects of the new health-care reform package will be the subject of a Stanford Health Policy Forum event April 1 at Stanford University.

The forum will feature three of the university's leading health-care experts: Philip Pizzo, MD, dean of the School of Medicine; Alan Garber, MD, PhD, professor of medicine; and Alain Enthoven, PhD, emeritus professor in the Graduate School of Business. They will discuss the ways that the new reform measures will change our current system, the challenges that may arise and follow-up steps that the Obama administration and the Congress may need to consider in the coming years.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Daniel Kessler, JD, PhD, an economist, senior fellow at Stanford's Hoover Institution, and professor of law, of business and of health research and policy at Stanford.
