Michael Freedman: Can we unlearn the bomb?
CISAC, FSI Stanford in the news: The Atlantic on May 6, 2011"Earlier this spring I visited the most nuclear-bombed place in the world," writes CISAC's Michael Freedman in The Atlantic. "To get there, I traveled with a group of Stanford colleagues to Las Vegas, made my way past the one-armed bandits in the smoke-filled Monte Carlo casino, and climbed aboard a charter bus that would drive us 65 miles north to the former Nevada Test Site."
