McNamara deems U.S. nuclear weapons policies dangerous, immoral

In a Foreign Policy cover story that began as a talk at CISAC last fall, Robert McNamara warns that the current U.S. administration's nuclear weapons policies are dangerous, immoral and unnecessary. It's well past time for the nation to remove its nuclear weapons from high alert and to make a concerted effort toward global nuclear disarmament, writes the former secretary of defense.
