Obama appoints Rodney Ewing to key post
CISAC, FSI Stanford in the newsPresident Barack Obama announced July 22 his intent to appoint Rodney Ewing and two other scientists to the Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board. The board provides independent scientific and technical oversight of the Department of Energy's program for managing high-level radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel. "I am proud that such experienced and committed individuals have agreed to serve the American people in these important roles," said Obama.
