U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu presented Siegfried Hecker, CISAC co-director, the 2009 Enrico Fermi Award in a ceremony on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C. The Presidential Award, which carries an honorarium of $375,000, will be shared with Dr. John Goodenough, University of Texas.
