Catharine Kristian joined the Freeman Spogli Institute in 2003. She leads operations for many University-wide international programs, including the International Initiative, the Stanford Center at Peking University, the Stanford Global Gateway, and newly established programmatic entities within the Institute.
Before coming to Stanford, she held senior management positions in Silicon Valley for technology corporations such as Oracle, Daisy Systems, and Tandem Computers. She has professional experience in product management, product marketing, relationship management, and communications. Catharine holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
