Daniella Perlroth is a board-certified internist and infectious disease physician. She was a fellow with the VA Medical Informatics Fellowship program and is currently a research associate working with Centers for Health Policy. She performs cost-effectiveness and economic analyses. She has studied the cost-effectiveness of mitigation strategies for pandemic influenza, including social distancing, and anti-viral treatment and prophylaxis strategies. Her work on influenza pandemics collaborates with Sandia National Laboratories. She also works with Dr. Alan Garber of Stanford and Dr. Dana Goldman of USC on estimating the economic implications of comparative effectiveness research. Her research there has estimated the potential impact of implementing treatment strategies supported by comparative effectiveness research for localized prostate cancer.
