Research Interests
research in China related to hospital performance evaluation, the impact of the social environment on postpartum women, financial incentives for physician performance, and the health needs and health status of the elderly


Guohong Li is a CHP/PCOR trainee with the China-U.S. Health and Aging Research Fellowship Program. An associate professor in the School of Public Health at Shanghai Second Medical University, she has published research on topics including hospital performance evaluation, the impact of the social environment on postpartum women, and financial incentives for physician performance. Li is at Stanford for six months, taking courses and further developing her research proposal: to conduct a feasibility study for establishing a healthcare services system for the elderly in Shanghai. She received a master's degree in health statistics and epidemiology from Shanghai Medical University, and a PhD in social medicine and health management from Fudan University.
