Joseph Chang is a Research Associate at the Program on Energy and Sustainable Development (PESD) at Stanford University. His work focuses primarily on the impact of government policy and market reforms on energy and sustainability in China. His research also covers the interplay between the energy and financial markets, and the impact of government intervention and regulation on energy markets and climate change.
Joseph joined PESD in October of 2010. Prior to that, he worked for Ernst & Young serving a number of major companies in the oil and gas and energy trading space in Houston and Calgary. He received his MS in Accounting from the University of Virginia and a BA in English and Economics at Rice University
