John Calcagni is the project coordinator for the VISN Collaborative for Improving Hypertension Management with ATHENA-HTN, led by CHP/PCOR core faculty member Mary Goldstein. He previously worked as a research assistant for CHP/PCOR's Functional Life and Independence Research project (FLAIR project). Before these positions, he worked at the University of Michigan Medical School Department of Family Medicine as lead research assistant for two projects within the Great Lakes Research into Practice Network (GRIN), a statewide practice-based research network. This work focused on the development and implementation of a Web-based health screening reminder system in community primary care practices. Calcagni received a BS in biological sciences from Kent State University.
