Research Interests
programs supporting the elderly and those with Alzheimer's disease; programs supporting family caregivers


Karina Meneses is a bilingual (Spanish-English) research assistant at CHP/PCOR, working with the project on Disutility of Functional Limitations in the Elderly (known as the FLAIR project). Previously, as a research assistant for a project called Resources for Enhancing Alzheimer's Caregiver Health (REACH), she recruited subjects for the project and conducted in-home screenings and interviews. She also previously worked on a project at the VA Palo Alto Health System which evaluated the effectiveness of a stress management program for family caregivers. She received a BA in psychology from San Jose State University. She speaks Spanish fluently.
