Lien-Hang T. Nguyen was a 2004-2005 CISAC social science fellow. She is currently an Assistant Professor in History at the University of Kentucky. She received her PhD from from Yale University in 2008. Her dissertation, "Between the Storms: An International History of the Second Indochina War, 1968-1973," required multiarchival research in Vietnam, the United States, and Europe. She is a member of the American Historical Association, the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations, and the Association for Asian Studies, and she serves on the executive committee of the Vietnam Studies Group. She received an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania.
