Manas Baveja was a CISAC Organizational Learning for Homeland Security fellow (2004-2005) and a CISAC science fellow (2005-2006) while completing his PhD in the Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering at Stanford University. His doctoral research is focused on quantitative modeling of homeland security projects. While at CISAC he conducted a study on the biometric aspects of the US-VISIT program. He has also done research in the area of container security. He received an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology - Delhi and an MS in scientific computing and computational mathematics from Stanford University.
