Moira joined CHP/PCOR as a project manager in November 2006. She is responsible for overseeing two projects: the Center on the Demography and Economics of Aging (CDEHA) and the Center on Advancing Decision Making in Aging (CADMA), which entails managing operations relating to IRB approval, budgets, requests for research proposals, and more.
Among her varied experience, she has worked at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in the Executive Education Department, taught English as a second language in India, and worked with troubled adolescents at a therapeutic boarding school on a ranch in Montana. Prior to joining CHP/PCOR, she completed post-bacc/pre-med courses at Montana State University. There, she volunteered at a sliding-scale reproductive health clinic and a sexual assault and domestic violence crisis center. Moira holds a BA in History, Literature and the Arts from Stanford University, and plans to apply to medical school in the future.
