Sean graduated from Stanford University in 2009 with a BA in International Relations and an informal focus on nuclear issues. He is currently assisting CISAC co-director Siegfried Hecker with a project on the real world security implications of information technology. Additionally, Sean has been working for Dr. Hecker for the past two years on projects about North Korea's nuclear development and capabilities. Sean co-authored an article about North Korea's nuclear history in the journal for the National Academy of Engineering with Dr. Hecker and Dr. Chaim Braun.

Outside of CISAC, Sean interned at Facebook in Palo Alto during the summer of 2008. For several months in 2006, he worked at the Hoover Institution for Fellow Joseph McNamara who was writing a book on drug-related police corruption.
