Alison Epstein assists CISAC Associate Director for Research Lynn Eden and Senior Fellow Martha Crenshaw with research and administrative duties. Ali graduated from Stanford in 2012 with a BA in International Relations and Honors in International Security Studies. Her senior thesis for CISAC’s Interschool Honors Program, “Linking Arms”, explored the historic alliance between the United States and Great Britain.

Alison’s international experience includes living and working in Madrid, Spain and London, England. In addition to her coursework at Stanford she has completed summer courses at Cambridge University and Georgetown University on a range of international security topics. Her professional experience includes internships at Cravath Swaine and Moore LLP in New York, McAllister Olivarius International Legal Partners in London, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC.
