Norman Naimark's 'Stalin's Genocides' published in Ukranian

A new Ukranian translation of Norman Naimark's most recent book 'Stalin's Genocides' (Princeton University Press, 2010) has been published by the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Publishing House. Professor Naimark attended the May 10-11 presentations of the new translation in Kiev. 'Stalin's Genocides' has also been published in German, and Japanese and Russian translations are forthcoming.

Norman Naimark: 'A Question of Genocide'

For nearly 100 years, the Armenian genocide has been a source of deep division and stress between Armenians and Turks. Now, working together for the first time, Turkish, Armenian, and other scholars present in a new book a reconstruction of what happened and why. The book -- A Question of Genocide: Armenians and Turks at the End of the Ottoman Empire -- was co-edited by historian Norman Naimark, along with Ronald Grigor Suny and Fatma Muge Gocek. Naimark, a CISAC affiliated faculty member, is also the author of Stalin's Genocides, published by Princeton University Press in August, 2010.
